Shadows and spirits

While standing with my sister under the setting sun in Chaco Canyon, I noticed my  shadow and it reminded me of some of the petroglypths and pictographs I had seen on the rocks during my Southwest trip.

I wondered if the people who made the petroglyphs had been inspired by their shadows. So, I took some photos to see if I could made some shapes worthy of a petroglyph.

Using my rudimentary Photoshop skills and images from Canyon de Chelly, I mixed some of my shadows with the petroglyphs already on the walls.
